流しそうめんの時のエピソード

Please let me write about 

最後にもうひとつだけ

a memorable episode from the

noodles day.

いつもは椅子を押しながら散歩したり

Mr K is always busy 

スタッフを気遣ったり

pushing chairs while walking, or 

忙しいK様。

caring about the staff. 

.

食べ物の好き嫌いはなく

He loves eating 

食べる事が好きなのですが、

and doesn't have any dislikes. 

流しそうめん当日の朝

Nevertheless, on the day of the event, 

「そんなくだらないもの要らない」

he told us that that noodles were silly

なんて仰っていたんです????

and that he didn't want them. 

.

.

ですが、、、

Fortunately for us

いざそうめんが流れ始めると

Once the noodles were flowing 

誰よりもやる気になって

he was excited, more than anyone else, 

沢山おかわりもされ

and ended up eating about 

4杯ほど召し上がったのです☆彡

four bowls of noodles!

.

.

やっぱりお腹空いてる時って

Being told to wait when hungry 

我慢できないですよね。

is such a nightmare. 

私も学生の頃自炊だったのですが、

I used to *cook* while attending university, 

毎日作るのが嫌で

but I hated the idea of having to prepare three meals a day 

日曜に一週間分作り置きしていました????

that I just made a week's worth every Sunday.

あ、それと追伸です。

Oh, and one last thing.

I've received comments about why

I, Kawamoto (or Hatch) 

カナダ生まれの日本xアイルランドのハーフです。

am Canadian-born, biracial between Ireland and Japan. 

日本の小学校しか通った事がなく

I've only attended a Japanese primary school

それ以降はインターナショナルスクールに通い

and afterwards an international school

イギリスの大学を卒業している

then graduated from a Scottish university. 

いわゆる帰国子女ってやつです。

Basically what you call a returnee. 

書くのは英語の方が得意なので

So please accept my apologies for my 

下手な日本語お許しください????
